Masterbrass quintet - band photo

The band MASTERBRASS consists of five artists playing brass instruments. On a day-to-day basis they are related as soloists to the most important cultural institutions in Poznan, such as: Filharmonia im. Tadeusza Szeligowskiego (Philharmonics), Teatr Wielki im. Stanisława Moniuszki (Opera), Teatr Muzyczny (Operetta) and Akademia Muzyczna im. Ignacego Jana Paderewskiego (Paderewski Music Academy).

After years of musical cooperation these artists decided to found a quintet, where they could combine their experience with great musical passion, which they all have. Their purpose is to perform pieces that represent various musical genres – from renaissance up to contemporary music, including also pieces from opera, operetta and popular music. The band cooperates with talented polish soloists, composers and arrangers.

Performed musical pieces are being colored with accurate and often humorous leading words. During their performances, musicians are able to create a unique aura - so that they receive numerous invitations from various cultural institutions. MASTERBRASS members had the pleasure to perform in countless concert halls, in Poland and abroad, that is for example: on the Days of Polish Music in Beijing (2011), in the European Parliament in Brussels (2011), Polish Parliament (2013), Marathon V-Festival for young contemporary music in Vienna (2013) or Estonian Music Days festival in Tallinn.

Everyone inviting MASTERBRASS can be sure of good entertainment on highest artistic level.
